Haines Dolphins Swim Team
The Haines Dolphins Swim Team was organized in 1997 by a group of dedicated volunteers. Our first year we sent one swimmer to Junior Olympics. Seven years later we sent our first swimmer to Nationals and had 13 qualifiers for Junior Olympics. We have grown to be one of the largest youth sports organization in Haines, operating from Septemberthrough April every year.
Our swimmers have brought home numerous High Point Awards, Percentage of Best Times awards, and Most Points Per Swimmer awards in recent years. We've developed a reputation in the Alaska swimming community for having a small, high-quality team.
