Lots of things to tell you this time around...:)

POOL CLOSED
The pool will be closed for about a week while the sand filter is being replaced. Coach Tyler will be doing dry land training from 3:30-4:30 every practice day while the pool is closed. Don't want to lose your conditioning with the big meet coming up!

WINTER GAMES
Our Winter Games is January 28-29. Sign-ups for the meet will be on January 19 and 20 at the pool. A board member will be there each of those days to assist with your entries. Each swimmer can compete in a maximum of 10 events. This is a really fun meet, and the community comes out to support the team.

MOVIE & POPCORN TEAM PARTY
Since the pool is closed, Coach Tyler wanted to have a fun event for the team. On Wednesday, January 18, all swimmers can come to the pool lobby at 3:30 p.m. to watch the movie Dolphin Tale, and eat popcorn! This event is open to the kiddos in swim lessons as well. Should be a blast!

SWIMATHON NEWS
The Swimathon comes right on the heels of the Winter Games! Are you ready to raise some funds for your team? A team Swimathon Kickoff Pool Party is scheduled for February 17. All team members should plan on attending! Prizes will be revealed too...:) Parents, this is our one big fundraiser each season. We greatly rely on the funds that are brought in. Think of ways you can support your child as they raise money for their team. The Swimathon is scheduled for Saturday, March 31. For those kids who are taking swim lessons, you are included in the Swimathon fundraising as well!

SWIMSUIT ORDER DEADLINE EXTENDED
We are waiting to send the swim suit order in, because there are several kids who haven't been here to order them yet.
